Best Defense is a Good Offense!

Conservatives need to stop playing defense

Sibby has hit it out of the park on this one. The lack of either intestinal fortitude, or any detectable spinal bone structure in much of what passes as “Republicanism” these days is such a sad turnabout from the unashamed and assertive stance of Ronaldus Magnus and his 1980’s Republican renaissance.

He extensively cites Farah from WND, and adds his own pithy comment on the sad state of current Conservatism.

The great question is what to do about it – how to organize this?

In a related development, radio talker Michael Savage has noted that he is “mulling” a presidential bid, presumably as a stimulus to some serious consideration in the GOP of an aggressive nationalistic Republicanism in contrast to the crop of RINO candidates (Giuliani, McCain, etc). This can be interesting, since Savage is indubitably an attack-dog Conservative. He would be GREAT fun to see at a candidates’ “debate” forum.

The Conservative side of the GOP could do worse than take biblical counsel: (I Corinthians 14)

8 For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?
9 So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak into the air.
