Australian flag not welcome at rock concert

Australians were told yesterday not to wave or wear their national flag at the country’s biggest rock concert for fear that it could provoke racist violence, a year after gangs rioted on a Sydney beach.

Apparently the land of Oz has it’s share of dhimmi-heads, just like the mother country (and just like us, for that matter).

The decision sparked anger from politicians, the media and war veteran associations, with one old soldier calling it “a bloody outrage”. The organisers of the Big Day Out in Sydney, which will be held on Thursday, said their decision was prompted by fans’ behaviour at last year’s festival, when young men draped in flags intimidated members of the crowd, demanding that they pledge allegiance to the emblem.
